Knit quick and easy Knitted Roses with Penelope Teapot's super-simple tutorial...

It's official, Autumn has arrived... the Knitting Needles are out!

My first project of the season? A giant hippie, boho, gypsy-soul inspired circular blanket. My vision is for this giant colour-wheel blanket to be dripping in tassels, lace, ribbons and flowers. All my favourite embellishments.

I even have a little helper this year...

While searching online for a little inspiration on knitted flowers, I stumbled across this amazingly simple way to knit roses that I felt was just too good not to share.

Penelopeteapot.co.uk is an amazing craft blog by crazy-talented Etsy and Folksy seller, Sarah. She shares her latest designs, projects and tons of tips and free patterns. This adorable little knitted rose is one of them.

This is the easiest and most effective tutorial I have found, and for us impatient  time-sensitive knitters, it's absolutely perfect for adding beautiful embellishments fast! It's so simple to make, completely size-adaptable and all knit in lovely quick and easy garter stitch and looks totally gorgeous!
